Week 6 Assignment 2-1 Reflection of Article Reading

            ICTs in our learning process (Information and Communication Technology )

ICTs is technology integrated students learning, it is a new form of literacy learning. ICTs in learning encourage students to hands-on the learning project, seeking the answering by themselves and create a community environment. The ICTs brings more benefit to students’ learning and give support to students’ learning objectives.  ICTs can use in science class, 1) collect date 2) media delivery content 3) interactive tool 4) internet preform research 5)productivity tools to create reports for finding. The technology integrates with students learning to make the class more vivid and enhance students learning, when students hands-on their researching, it creates a learning process, student build up their problem-solving system and seeking the answer step by step. I think this process can practice on students logical thinking and ability to work independently.

In nowadays, people are use social network to interact and share information in multimodal formats, such as image, video, graphic through the internet. The ITCs becomes a important tool that make connect between teacher and students. The teacher can motivate students learning by interact and make common on students learning result. It also helps teacher to collect students learning result and by analysis of students learning result make curriculum maintain students’ needs. As a student, the ICTs can help students learning more effective. Students can ask question and either teacher and classmates can share the information online. Students can express their though and get feedback at first time. It cultivates student’s problem-solving ability and motivate on learning. Students find answer by searching the key words. This also can be a way to practice on students’ literacy learning and cultivate students’ ability to find the main point of the learning object.

Week 7 assignment 1 Article reflection

1. Theories and Practices of Multimodal Education: In today’s teaching in the classroom, teacher needs to use multimodal ways to inform students about learning theories and practice. The multimodal theories include Picture books, interaction with peers, gesture, drama, drawing, and ways of incorporating, integrating and extending linguistic signs. The digital media also can be a way to help students in literacy learning. Students can decode and comprehend alphabetic print in conjunction with other socially and culturally shaped forms of representation.
