Examine and explain how other teachers are using games in the classrooms (particularly with ELA).

Nowadays more teachers choose to use digital games integrate with their lessons. The new teacher survey shows that imply game to the lesson is more effective and engaging students' learning process. Students become motivate and rewarding especially on low-performing students. The digital game become a way to performing standard-based content and assess students’ knowledge and skill. Students can practice on their literacy skills and comprehensive ability by reading the game rules, and motivate their logical thinking to achieve their goals. When students reading the instruction and rules of the game to find a strategy to make the achievement of the game. The achievement of each level shows the students’ understanding of the text content. The digital game gives students a break meanwhile it is a way to engaging on students learning.

1. Theories and Practices of Multimodal Education: In today’s teaching in the classroom, teacher needs to use multimodal ways to inform students about learning theories and practice. The multimodal theories include Picture books, interaction with peers, gesture, drama, drawing, and ways of incorporating, integrating and extending linguistic signs. The digital media also can be a way to help students in literacy learning. Students can decode and comprehend alphabetic print in conjunction with other socially and culturally shaped forms of representation.
